                 NOTE:   The  Irish Emigration Research Project is developing the computer files and indexation  of the six million ship passengers who immigrated to North America during the 19th century.   Plans are to have public access by 2000.  This is part of the Jeanie Johnston  project to reconstruct the famine ship and provide more historical data for An Gorta Mor.
