NOTE:
The Irish Emigration Research Project is
developing the computer files and indexation of the six million ship
passengers who immigrated to North America during the 19th century.
Plans are to have public access by 2000. This is part of the
Jeanie Johnston project to reconstruct the famine ship
and provide more historical data for An Gorta Mor.
