Henneberry's in Illinois

To demonstrate how the Irish from Galbally settled close together after arriving in America:  The 1870 Will County, IL census shows John Henneberry (brother of James) living on the farm next to Thomas Magner (uncle of Elizabeth-the wife of James).  The 1870 Grundy County, Felix Township census shows four Henneberry brothers living on adjacent farms:  WilliamJames, Patrick and David.  On the next farms were a sister Bessie Henneberry Hayes and the James Cushing family.   In the mid 1870's, four Henneberry families moved to Moultrie County.

Most of the Henneberrys' stayed in Northern Illinois-the counties of Cook, DuPage, Will and Grundy;   near the cities of Chicago, Joliet, Wilmington and Morris.
