Of these Children Thomas (the eldest) emigrated to Australia in 1854. I am
descended from him. As far as I know he was the only one to come to Australia.
Another branch of the family is in New Zealand. From the above the following
marriages are recorded in the Mooncoin Registers.
Richard Henebery & Ellen Synott 11 March 1862
John Henebery & Alice Walsh 25 August 1869
Johanna Henebery & Richard Howley 10 Sept 1865
David Henebery & Bridget Walsh 1 June 1878
Partick Henebery & Joanna Doyle 30 January 1868
I was told in Mooncoin last year that some of the Heneberys had emigrated to
Chicago USA but have no evidence of this but would love to find some connection.
I have details on my Australian Henebery family and some details on the NZ
family.
Will you put this information on your website or will you keep it for reference?
In any case I hope it is of interest. The Henebery name was very common in the
south of Kilkenny and into Waterford. Still is found in those parts. Delahunty
was also common in those parts.

I am descended from Thomas Henebery who was born 2 April 1831 in Ballybrazel Co
Kilkenny Ireland. He was the son of
John Henebery and Ellen Delahunty. He was the only one of his 11 siblings to
emigrate to Australia. I have been told at least
one other went to Chicago USA.I have further information concerning that family
if you are interested. Some of the family
still reside in Ballybrazel today.Regards. Danny Goss
