Kinney & Bresnan Grocery & Meat Market Dalton City, Illinois The store was still Kinney & Bresnan in 1905. By 1906, it became Kinney & Co. Edward and Daniel Kinney, sons of John Kinney and Mary Bresnan Kinney, (Mary Bresnan was the daughter of Edward Bresnan and Mary Twohy), managed the store. Ed Kinney married Emma Jane Henebry. The check below was written by Lizzie Henebry Dunn. After the death of her husband Lewis Dunn, she married Dan Kinney. Dan listed his occupation as store keeper on the marriage license of April 6, 1907. Mary Agnes Henebry, sister of Emma and Lizzie, married Bernard Bresnan on Sept. 28, 1897.
